FRIED CHICKEN FINGERS /TENDERS /STRIPS /FILLETS RECIPE

Our chicken tenders or chicken strips recipe is so easy and tasty. It’s like restaurant quality! This is my tried and quick recipe for the best homemade chicken strips. Serve with your favorite sauces and potato fries.



PREPARATION TIME: 20 mins        COOKING TIME: 10-15 mins            SERVING: 4

 INGREDIENTS

For chicken marination

Chicken breast (boneless) 500 gm
Buttermilk 1 cup
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Whole spices powder 1 tsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Egg 1
Mix herbs 1/4 tsp
Oil for frying

for buttermilk

Milk 1 cup
White vinegar OR Lemon juice 2 tbsp

For flour mixture

Plain flour 1 cup
Corn flour 1/4 cup
Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Red chilli flakes 1/4 tsp
METHOD

METHOD


  • for buttermilkPour milk into a cup. Add white vinegar OR lemon juice and allow to sit for about 10 minutes before use. The milk begins to curdle. 

For chicken

  • Cut chicken breast into strips.
  • Combine the chicken strips with all of the marinade ingredients in a large bowel.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
  • Then take out marinated chicken from fridge 1 hour before frying.
  • Take each chicken strips and coat in flour mixture.Repeat coating dip the chicken in liquid batter for 15 second and  again coat in dry mixture. 
  • Remove the excesses flour from the chicken.
  • Fry the chicken till golden brown colored on both sides and until the chicken is completely cooked in the center.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite sauces, and potato fries.
