CLUB SANDWICH

Club Sandwich is a really yummy sandwich filled with chicken, salad, and omelette. It's a great picnic food or can be served at a small lunch gathering or ramadan. Goes great with french fries.





Following recipe is easy you can pack these sandwiches in aluminum foil and it can be used after 7-8 hours.



PREPARATION TIME: 15 mins        COOKING TIME:10 mins            SERVING: 6

INGREDIENTS

Bread slices 12
Mayonnaise as required
Ketchup as required
Salad leaves as needed
Tomato 1 slices
Cucumber 1 slices
Butter 2 tbsp 


CHICKEN MARINATION

Chicken breast cubed  400 gm
Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp.
Tandoori masala 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper 1 tsp
oil 2 tbsp

FOR OMELETTE

Eggs 3
Salt to taste
Black pepper 1/4 tsp 
Milk 3 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp

METHOD

FOR CHICKEN
  • Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, tandoori masala, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper and leave it for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil and cook chicken until tender.

FOR OMELETTE
  • Beat eggs with milk, salt and black pepper.
  • In a frying pan add 1 tbsp oil and pour half mixture of egg cook from both side.and do the same for remaining egg as well.
ASSEMBLING
  • Cut the edges of the bread from all four sides.grease grill pan with butter and toast bread slice from both sides spread  mayonnaise on every slice of bread.
  • Now take one slice of bread put the chicken,and ketchup on it Cover it with another bread slice (mayonnaise side up)
  • Put cucumbers, tomato, lettuce and ketchup and cover with third bread slice.
  • Put omelette and salad leave  cover with fourth bread slice (mayonnaise side down). 
  • Press gently all bread slices and cut in sandwich shape. Insert tooth pick in center of each club sandwich 
  • Serve with French fries and coleslaw.
