4 QUICK SNACKS WRAPPERS

(RAMADAN SPECIAL RECIPES)

Have you ever tried making 4 different snacks using one pastry at home? If not, here is your chance to learn how to make homemade  pastry . Just a few basic ingredients combined and kneaded together to prepare your very own homemade wrappers. They are super easy to make, healthy. It is an easy recipe for ramadan because you can make four things with one pastry its a quick and simple recipe.




Now, let’s move on to the recipe. Combine all the ingredients and knead a soft pliable dough. Let the dough rest. This will relax the gluten (a protein that lends strength to flour) and help with the rolling process.


PREPARATION TIME: 20 mins        COOKING TIME: 5 min
        
INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour sifted 1 1/2 Cups
Salt 1/2 tsp 
Oil 2 tbs
Water 1/2 Cup or as required 
Cooking oil  as you required

METHOD

  • In bowl,add flour,salt,oil and mix well.
  • Gradually add water and knead until soft dough is formed.
  • Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes. 
  • Knead dough again with oil,sprinkle flour on working surface and roll out dough with the help of rolling pin.
  • Now cut the dough with cutter,grease with oil and sprinkle flour on 3 rolled dough.
  • On one rolled dough,place other rolled dough over it (makes 4 layers in this way) and roll out with the help of the rolling pin.
  • Heat griddle and cook on low flame for 30 seconds each side then separates the 4 layers & let it cool down.
  • Cut it in roll, samosa, wonton, and box patties wrappers size with cutter and can be freeze in zip lock bag for up to 3 weeks.
  • Cut the remaining edges with cutter.
