CHICKEN SHAMI KEBAB

There are Most of people who don’t know that How to Cook Shami Kebab.so don’t worry i’m here Try these crispy and delicious kebabs that melt in your mouth, made using chicken, split bengal gram and various other ingredients, cooked and ground to a fine paste then is fried and yummy kebabs are ready...
So, lets Start Cook !


PREPARATION TIME: 20 mins        COOKING TIME:50-55 mins                                                                                                                                                                                       
INGREDIENTS

Chicken boneless 750 gm
Split bengal gram 250 gm (Soaked 2 hours)
Water 4 Cups
Onions 2
Button red chilies 15-16
Ginger 2 inch piece
Garlic 10-12 cloves
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Black peppercorns 1 tsp
Cinnamon sticks 2-3
Bay leaf 1
Hot spices powder 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves) 1/2 Cup
Mint leaves ¼ Cup
Green chilies 2-3 (optional)
Eggs 1-2
Oil for frying

METHOD
  • In a cooking pot, add water, chicken, split bengal gram, onion, button red chilies, ginger, garlic,salt coriander, black peppercorns, cinnamon sticks, bay leaf, hot spices powder,and cumin seeds mix it well, boil it until tender.
  • After that, cook it until dry the chicken mixture and let it cool.(This step is important). 
  • In chopper,add chicken mixture, coriander leaves,mint leaves,green chilies and eggs,grind until well combined.
  • Wet your hands with water,take a mixture and make 22-24 shami kebabs of equal sizes.
  • In frying pan,heat oil and fry kebabs until golden brown.
  • Your tasty Chicken Shami Kebab now ready to serve with ketchup.
For freezing, Place all kebabs separately in tray, freeze them for 2 hours. When kebab are fully frozen. Place them one on other in an air tight container and store them for 1 month. Fry frozen kebabs directly in hot oil.
