PIZZA ROLL RECIPE FOR RAMADAN
Pizza Roll is a yummy snack that is loved by both children and adults. It is a perfect appetizer, a snack item for Iftar, picnic or hi-tea parties. Pizza Rolls are slightly different from Asian Egg Rolls. Try this recipe of Pizza Rolls you will have fun both making and eating these homemade Pizza Rolls and store it for Ramadan.PREPARATION TIME: 20 mins COOKING TIME: 20 mins SERVING: 4-5
INGREDIENTS
Oil 4 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 1/2 tsp
Chicken 400 grams (boneless)
Red chili powder 1 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Water 1/2 cup
Pizza sauce 3 tbsp
Onion small cubed 1 cup
Green Capsicum 1 cup
Oregano 1/2 tsp
Thyme 1/2 tsp
Cheddar cheese
Black or Green olives chopped 4 tbsp
All-purpose flour 4 tbs
Water as required
Roll sheets 15-18
Oil for frying
METHOD
- In wok heat oil add ginger garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Now add chicken, all the mentioned spices water and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add pizza sauce and vegetables, oregano, thyme mix well cook for 1-2 minutes & set aside.
- Add cheddar cheese, black or green olives and mix well.
- In all-purpose flour, add water and mix well to form a smooth paste.
- Take roll sheets, add the filling and fold both sides, apply all-purpose flour paste and fold it.
- Prepare the remaining rolls similarly and can be stored up to 3 weeks in the freeze.
- In wok, heat oil and fry until golden brown.
- serve with tomato sauce or any favorite dip.
