KEEMA NAAN (MINCE STUFFED FLATBREAD)
Homemade Keema naan is too delightful to eat and It’s usually made with mince meat. So try this easy & tasty homemade Keema naan recipe.PREPARATION TIME: 20 mins BAKING TIME: 30-35 mins SERVING: 2-3
INGREDIENTS
Keema (Mince) Stuffing:
Beef mince 500 gm
Onion 1 medium size
Cilantro 1/2 cup
Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
Green chilies 3-4
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Cumin 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
For dough:
Flour 500 gm
Sugar 1 tsp
Dry yeast 1 & 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Yogurt 4 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Warm water as required
Milk
Butter for topping as required
Coriander for topping as required
METHOD
For Keema (Mince) Stuffing:
- In a large bowl,add beef mince,chopped ginger & garlic ,cumin seeds,coriander seeds,red chili powder,salt,green chilies,onion,fresh coriander,mix well and set aside.
- In a large bowl add flour, yeast, salt, yogurt, oil and add water gradually,knead a soft dough.
- Cover and let it rest in a warm place for 1 & 1/2 hours.
- Now punch down the dough and knead again,divide dough into 3 equal parts.
- Roll out one part and fill the mince filling in the center and pull the edges up,seal and shape again into a ball.
- Sprinkle all-purpose flour and roll out again with light hands, Add marks with the help of the hands.
- Place the naan in baking tray, brush the top with milk and bake it preheated at 180 C for 30-35 minutes.
- After baking,brush the top with butter and coriander leaves mixture and serve with raita and salad.
