Try this classic Beef Dhaga Kabab recipe and share you experience with me.PREPARATION TIME: 15 mins COOKING TIME: 15-20 mins SERVING: 2
INGREDIENTS
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Green cardamom 2
Black cardamom 2
Black peppercorn 1 tsp
Cinnamon sticks 1
Mace 2
Bay leaf 1
Beef mince 500 gm (must be dried)
Salt to taste
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Onion chopped 1/2 cup
Papaya paste 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Coriander chopped 3 tbsp
Mint chopped 3 tbsp
Green chilies chopped 4
Roasted masala 1 & 1/2 tbsp
Thread as required
METHOD
- In a fry pan add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, green & black cardamom, black peppercorn, cinnamon stick, mace and bay leaf and roast until fragrant & let it cool.
- I a mixer add all the roasted spices and grind to make a fine powder & keep aside.
- In a bowl add beef mince, salt, red chili powder, roasted masala, ginger garlic paste, onion, papaya, green chilies. coriander chopped, mint
- mix it well & refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Grease your hands with oil,take a mince mixture and make a kebabs onto the metal skewers and tie with a kitchen thread.
- Cook on charcoal until done and basting with oil.
- Pull out the thread.Beef Dhaga Kabab is ready.
- Serve with naan, mint chutney & onion rings.ENJOY!!
