HOT AND SPICY BEEF RESHMI KABAB PARATHA ROLL
Recently Paratha rolls have become a favorite fast-food option in Pakistan, but of course, like most fast food snacks, you will have to pay a price for hygiene, so why not simply try out this guaranteed hot and spicy beef reshmi kabab paratha roll recipe at home.PREPARATION TIME: 20 mins COOKING TIME:30-35 mins SERVING: 8-10
INGREDIENTS
Beef mince 500 gm
Almond 9-10
Coconut powder 2 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Raw papaya paste 1 & 1/2 tbs
Chickpeas 3 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Green chilies 4-5
Cloves 5-6
Black peppercorns 1/2 tsp
Nutmeg 1/2 piece
Mace 1/2 piece
Cinnamon stick 1
Black cardamom 1
Garlic 8-10 cloves
Green chilies 4-5
Ginger 1 inch piece
Onion fried 1/4 Cup
Fresh coriander 1/4 Cup
Mint leaves 1/4 Cup
Bread slice 1
Butter 1 tbs
Cooking oil 2-3 tbsp
For Dough:
Plain Flour 2 1/2 cup
Oil 1 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Water
Ghee for frying paratha
For Yogurt Sauce:
Yogurt 1 Cup
Garlic paste) 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tbsp
For Salad:
Onion sliced 1 medium
Cucumber sliced 1
Tomato sliced 1 medium
Salt to taste
Lemon juice 1 tsp
METHOD
For Dough:
- Take a bowl and add Plain Flour, Salt, Oil and mix it well and then knead it with water. After that rest it for 30 minutes with cover.
- In a small frying pan, add almonds, chickpeas, cumin seeds, green cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, nutmeg, mace, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, and roast until fragrant & let it cool down.
- In spice mixer, add roasted spices and grind well to make a fine powder & set aside.
- In chopper, add garlic, green chilies, ginger, fried onion, fresh coriander, mint leaves, and chop well.
- Add bread slice and chop again.
- Add beef mince, coconut powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, raw papaya paste, butter, ground spices and chop until well combined and marinate for 1 hour.
- Grease hands with oil, take a mixture and make kababs onto the skewers (makes 8-10).
- In a frying pan, add cooking oil and fry kebabs from all sides until done.
- Make 8-10 balls of the dough, roll each to a saucer size plate, spread
- ghee, roll into a coil and again roll paratha to a quarter plate. size, shallow fry in the frying pan.
- In a bowl, add yogurt, garlic paste, black pepper powder, salt, and whisk well.
- In bowl,add Cucumber,onion,tomato,salt and lemon juice,toss well & set aside.
- Now take a butter paper and place the paratha and then add salad, cooked reshmi kebab and pour prepared yogurt sauce and roll it & serve.
