LACHA PARATHA

Lacha Paratha is a very famous Pakistani Food. Make a try for lacha paratha recipe and enjoy your breakfast.

 PREPARATION TIME: 10 mins        COOKING TIME: 10 mins   SERVING:4

INGREDIENTS

Flour 2 Cups
Salt 1/2 tsp or to taste
Sugar 1 tsp
Ghee 3 tbsp
Milk 1/4 cup
Water as required
Ghee as required

METHOD
  • In bowl add flour,salt,sugar,ghee and mix.
  • Add milk and gradually add water. Knead well to form medium soft dough.cover and let it rest for 25-30 minutes. 
  • Grease your hands with ghee and divide the dough into 4 equal parts.
  • Now coat in dry flour and roll out dough with the help of rolling pin.
  • Spread ghee and sprinkle dry flour,cut dough into strips with the help of the knife/cutter and fold all strips together, twist and roll it like a swiss roll and join the edge & rest it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Then press and coat in dry flour and roll out paratha your hands or rolling pin.
  • Now heat griddle on medium flame and fry paratha from both sides with ghee.
  • Serve hot with with Tea, Achaar etc.
