Namkeen Gosht (Salted Meat) is one of the most popular Peshawari recipes in Pakistan and also famous all over the world due to their amazing and delicious taste with amazing ingredients. You can make this recipe at home easily within a short time and few ingredients.



PREPARATION TIME: 15 mins        COOKING TIME: 35 mins        SERVING: 4

INGREDIENTS

Desi Ghee 2 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp 
Mutton 1 kg 
Whole Cumin 1 tsp 
Salt (As Needed)
Tomato chopped 4 
Hot Water 1 cup 
Green Chili chopped 4-5 
Black Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp 
Yogurt 2 tbsp 
Green Coriander 2 tbsp


METHOD
  • In a wok, add  ghee, ginger garlic paste, whole cumin, mutton, salt and cook for 2-3 minutes, then simmer for 15-20 minutes
  • Now add tomato, hot water and simmer for 30-35  minutes.
  • Add green chili, black pepper powder, yogurt and cook meat on medium high flame until water dries and oil separates.
  • Use sliced ginger, green chilies and green coriander for garnishing
  • Your tasty Namkeen Gosht now ready to serve and enjoy!
