PAKISTANI BEEF KOFTA CURRY (MEATBALL CURRY)

INGREDIENTS
Beef mince 500 gm
Onion 1 (finely chopped)
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Whole spice powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Roasted chickpea powder 3 tbsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Green chili 3
Coriander 1/4 cup
Mint 1/4 cup
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Poppy seeds 1 tsp
For Gravy:
Cooking oil 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Onion paste 1/2 cup
Tomato puree 1/2 cup
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Water as required
METHOD
- In a food chopper add beef mince, coriander/mint, cumin powder, puppy seeds, green chilies, onion, red chili powder, whole spice powder, salt, roasted chickpea powder, coriander powder, ginger/garlic paste and grind well.
- Grease your hands with oil and make make round shaped meatball.
- In a pan add oil and fry beef meatballs until brown.
- Heat oil in wok,add ginger garlic paste, and onion paste and cook for few minutes.
- Add Tomato puree and mix well.
- Now add salt, coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder, mix it well then add yogurt, cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Add prepared Koftas, cook for a minute then add water cover and cook for 15 mins on low to medium flame.
- Add coriander to garnish and serve hot.
