CHICKEN AND POTATO CROQUETTES
Everyone loves Chicken and Potato Croquettes. The French word “Croquette” means “To crunch” and croquettes are usually small cylindrical shaped snack rolls that are coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried.It is a perfect snack for every occasion.
PREPARATION TIME: 15 mins COOKING TIME: 10 mins SERVING: 4
Chicken (boiled & shredded) 250 gm
Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
White pepper 1/4
Salt taste
Potatoes 500 gm
Chili flakes 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Fresh coriander 1/4 bunch
Bread crumbs 1 & 1/2 cups or as needed
Eggs 2
Oil for frying
METHOD
- Peel, boil and mash the potatoes. Place the mashed potatoes in a bowl.
- Add shredded chicken, ginger & garlic paste, chilli flakes, lemon juice, soy sauce, black pepper, white pepper, coriander and mix very well.
- Make cylinder shapes or shape of your likings.
- Dip in whipped egg then roll in bread crumbs.
- When all the croquettes done, keep them in freezer for 10-15 mins for better firming.
- Heat oil in pan and deep fry croquettes until they are golden brown. Take out on a absorbent paper.
- Serve with your favorite sauce. Enjoy
