CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

These chocolate chip cookies are delicious, thick, and chewy. No funny ingredients, no chilling time, etc. Just a simple, straightforward, amazingly delicious, doughy yet still fully cooked. This is my FAVORITE recipe for chocolate chips cookies and they turn out perfect every time!



PREPARATION TIME: 20 mins     BAKING TIME: 8-10 mins       MAKES: 25-30 cookies.  

INGREDIENTS

Butter softened 1 cup
White sugar  1/2 cup 
Brown sugar 1/2 cup 
Milk  1/4 cup 
Vanilla essence 1 tsp 
Plain flour  2 & 1/2 cups  
Salt 1/2 teaspoon  
Baking soda  1 tsp 
Milk Chocolate chips 2 cups

METHOD
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, mix the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. 
  • Slowly stir in the milk and then add the vanilla essence to make a creamy mixture.  
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda. 
  • Add this dry mixture to the liquid mixture and stir well.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.  
  • Drop small spoonfuls of the batter onto non-stick cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, and let cool on baking sheet 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack, and let cool completely. 
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week.
