MUTTON DO PYAZA

Mutton Do Pyaza made easy with this simple and delicious recipe. You can enjoy it with naan.



PREPARATION TIME: 20 mins        COOKING TIME: 30-35 mins   SERVING: 5-6

INGREDIENTS

Oil 6 tbsp
Onion chopped 400 gm
Ginger & Garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbsp
Paprika powder 1 tbsp
Crushed & roasted Coriander 1 tbsp
Crushed & roasted Cumin 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp or to taste
Turmeric powder 1 tsp 
All spice powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Yogurt whisked 1/2 Cup
Mutton 1 kg
Tomato (Skinless) 4 
Hot Water 2 Cups 
Onion sliced 2 
Green chilies 
Fresh coriander 
Ginger julienne

METHOD
  • Heat cooking oil in a deep skillet add chopped onion and fry it until light brown.
  • Add ginger & garlic paste, paprika powder,crushed & roasted coriander,crushed & roasted cumin,red chili powder,turmeric powder,all spice powder,salt, whisked yogurt 
  • and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add mutton and tomato cook it for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add hot water cover and cook on low flame for 30-35 minutes or until meat is tender.
  • Add sliced onions, green chilies,fresh coriander, ginger Cover and cook until all the water dries and the oil floats on top, and dish out.
  • Your tasty Mutton Do Pyaza is ready, Serve with naan.
