INSTANT JALEBI

INGREDIENTS
For Sheera (Sugar syrup):
Water 250 ml
Sugar 500 gm
Green cardamom 2-3
Sour salt (Tatri) 1 pinch
For Jalebi:
Flour 250 gm
Instant yeast 1 tsp
Orange Food color 1 pinch
Ghee melted 1 tbs
Water 1 & 1/2 cup or as required
Ghee for frying
METHOD
For Sheera (Sugar syrup):
- In a pot, add water, sugar and green cardamom mix it and cook
- Then add sour salt (Tatri) & cook and set aside.
- Sheera (sugar syrup) is ready.
- In a bowl add flour, instant yeast, orange food color, ghee melted and water and make a batter of desired consistency.
- Now pour this batter in the sneezing bottle.
- In a frying pan, heat ghee and squeeze the bottle and make round shaped jalebi, & fry until jalebis changed into reddish-brown.
- After frying, immediately put the fried jalebis in the warm sugar syrup for about 2-3 minutes.
- Jalebi is ready to serve and enjoy.
