CHICKEN PARATHA ROLL

Chicken Paratha Roll is very common and popular snack dish in Pakistan It is prepared in three steps. Firstly you knead dough to make a fine paratha, then chicken mixture is cooked, the chutney that gives tangy spicy flavor, and the Salad.

This recipe of the Chicken Paratha is so good because it has the very good taste. You can serve this delicious Chicken Paratha Roll with ketchup,or any favourite dip. Chicken Paratha Roll can be a healthy food to consume during Ramadan at iftar. Try this recipe at home.You can make it at home easily and surprise your family and especially your children.


PREPARATION TIME: 10 mins        COOKING TIME: 20 mins        SERVING: 8

INGREDIENTS

FOR FILLING:

Chicken boneless 500 gm
Yogurt 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Green chillies 3
Salt 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Onion as required
Tandoori Masala 1 tbsp (optional)

METHOD
  • For filling;Blend yogurt,green chillies,cumin powder,red chill powder and salt in blender.
  • Then marinate chicken with ginger and garlic paste, tandoori masala,and yogurt mixture for 20 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry marinated chicken until tender.
FOR PARATHA:

Plain flour 500 gm
Salt 1/2 tsp
Ghee 2 tbsp 
Oil or Ghee for making paratha

METHOD
  • For paratha;mix the flour,salt and ghee in bowl nicely and knead the dough.
  • Then cover it with wet cloth and keep in warm place for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes divide the dough into a small balls.
  • Dust the surface with flour,roll the ball,add 1 tsp oil or ghee,dust flour and roll it like a roll, stretch and beat on the surface, then roll it like a snail.
  • Heat the pan roll the dough and place it on the pan.cook one side and turn,add oil on both sides and cook till golden.  
FOR CHUTNEY:

Tamarind pulp 1/4 cup
Coriander 2 tbsp
Mint leaves 8 
Green chillies 2
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Yogurt 2 tbsp

METHOD

  • For chutney;Grind all ingredients of chutney with very little water in the grinder.
  • chutney should be thick in consistency.
  • Now spread the chutney on paratha. Then keep chicken filling and onion and fold it.
  • Serve with chutney and cold drink...,,enjoy;
