CHICKEN CORN SOUP

Sometimes it's just a bowl of simple chicken corn soup that we need to lift our mood, spirit, and feel blessed. Try out this recipe of chicken corn soup prepared with chicken stock.

PREPARATION TIME: 10 mins        COOKING TIME:40 mins   SERVING: 2

INGREDIENTS

Chicken boneless 100 gm
Corn flour 4 tbsp (mixed in a little water)
Water 6-7 cups
Cream of corn or sweet corn boiled  1/2 cup
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Egg 1
Black pepper powder to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Vinegar to taste

METHOD
  • In a pot, add chicken (with bones), salt, cover and cook for 30 minutes. (chicken stock is ready)
  • Remove the chicken and shred it and discard the bones.
  • Now take a pot, add 4 cups chicken stock which has prepared, salt, white pepper powder, black pepper powder, boil corn, shredded chicken, and cook for 10-15 minutes. 
  • Dissolve cornflour in 1/2 cup water and pour that in soup, stir continually to avoid lumps.
  • Beat the egg and add it to soup.stirring continually.
  • Serve soup with chili sauce, vinegar, and green chilies.
