ENERGY DATE POWER BALLS

The delicious and nutritious date balls are a PERFECT healthy snack.These balls taste great and will give you a boost when you’re feeling low on energy.My mother always made these date balls every year at Ramadan time. These Energy Date Power Balls are an amazing  way to start your fasting! 


PREPARATION TIME: 10 mins             SERVING: 5-6       

INGREDIENTS

Dates (big) 20 
Raisins 3 tbsp
Cherries Sliced 8
Almond Chopped 1 tbsp
Cashews Chopped 1 tbsp
Ground Coconut 1/2 cup 
Ground Pistachio 1/2 cup

METHOD
  
  • De-pit the dates and add to a food processor, Pulse or blend for about 30 seconds, make sure that the dates well chopped. The mixture should result in a sticky.remove from the processor.
  • Take a large  bowel add chopped dates, almond, cherries, raisins, cashews and mix it well.
  • Place the ground coconut and  pistachio onto separate plates.
  • Roll in the ground coconut or pistachio until completely secured. 
  • Continue to do so until all of the dates rolls have been covered.
  •  Keep chilled until prepared to serve. 
  • Keeps for  around one week fresh, in the refrigerator.
